Landis & Kaleb

I’m the type of person who’s always had a few really good friends - I’d even say a small group of best friends. I know, best implies that one person is the best of the best. But I have the best friends (emphasis on that last “s”). Candice (I rarely call her that - we’ve called each other “Mann” for years) is one of them. We spent a period of time in high school being inseparable. We spent some more time being apart. We’re all grown up now, and lots of things in our lives have changed. But, she’s always someone I can spend hours with doing absolutely nothing. She’s basically another sister - my other siblings consider her family. She’s an incredible artist, a wonderful friend, and she and her husband Lane have made one adorable kiddo together. You might’ve seen him a while ago here. He’s growing way too fast, and I always have a really hard time putting my camera away when he’s around. Especially when we’re hanging out at home (I saved my favorites for last in this post). His cutie cousin Kaleb joined us for some shots, too. Oh, the cheeks!
We hung out at home for a bit. Landis is a huge fan of the “underdog” on the swing. :)

We took a quick trip to Stone Mountain to see some waterfalls. It was hard not to explore. :)
After Stone Mountain, we stopped for a bit of playtime at the park.

We worked up quite a sweat (and the need for food & a nap), so back home we went. These are my absolute favorites of the day. This kind of photography is what started our business, and I want to do more of it. Less posing, more lifestyle stuff at home. If you’re into that, shoot us an email please.
