Miri’s mama contacted us asking what we thought about doing an 18-month photo session. The original plan was to schedule more photos when Miri turns two, but she’s at this amazing stage where she has these adorable curls, loves to run and loves to chat, and has an insatiable urge to make sure all ducks and geese near her are well-fed. We went for it. The idea was to capture Miri and her blooming personality, and we had an amazing time focusing on her and the amazing little person she’s becoming!
We’ve been photographing this cutie since she was a newborn. Watching her grow in front of our camera has been an incredible experience!
Feeding the geese & ducks (with mama right behind her for safety)!
I’m sure we could’ve stayed at this spot for the entire session. Ducks and geese are fascinating! I love that we were able to grab a shot of Miri and her mama together watching the ducks. :)
Miri saw me lying down with my camera to get a shot of her, and was immediately curious. She decided to do the same thing, and Jordan quickly grabbed this amazing shot.
Oh, the cuteness! That little grin is the best!
One of Miri’s talents is her impressive balance. She climbed so many stairs, just like this. No need to hold onto anything when going up! I won’t lie, we were blown away!
We went on a flower hunt, but Miri was much more interested in the little guest I had camping out on my camera. :)
Love this happy girl!
If you’re thinking about scheduling a session, my advice is yes, just do it! Of course I’m biased being the one behind the camera, but the email we received from Miri’s mom after she saw the photos was incredible and absolutely made me a bit teary-eyed. Here’s what she had to say:
